Question by momanddad: How do I remove an awful toolbar with adult and gambling offers.?
There is an Remove Toolbar with a red X in front of it, and when I click it, http://search-quest.com/search.php?q=spyware comes up in the address box. Then there are magnifying glasses with Gamibling, Internet, Pharmacy, Finance, Insurance, Adult. The last, if you click it, has things that I DO NOT WANT on my computer.

You have spyware. Download spybot s&D and adaware. Install and run one, then the other. Between the two, you will get rid of it most likely. If that does not work try Hijackthis.

here. go to control panel, add and remove programs, and get rid of the toolbar. or download adaware on google (search ad-aware, and download the file) , or use spybots search and destroy (search on google) scan your comp, and get rid of the spyware sh!t
Get Microsoft’s AntiSpyware tool, Windows Defender, at http://www.microsoft.com/antispyware.
Not only is it free, but it will it remove all known spyware and toolbars. In its advanced settings, it lets you manually remove all toolbars, startup items, and other things that can be nasty.

You definitely have spyware. Microsoft has a good spyware removal software called anti spyware BETA 1
When did this start happening? If there is a name on the tool bar then go to the add or remove programs box and try to uninstall it from there. If it’s not listed there then scan your computer with a good spyware scanner (free trials usually work good but the paid version is always better).

Try downloading spyware doctor. Click start spyware scan now. I had a toolbar that kept going to adult sites and I downloaded this and it worked.
i fixed a similar problem i had spybot s&D, adaware and the microsoft one too, but they didnt help to remove it get Webroot Spy Sweeper 4.5 from download.com it did the job other software couldnt not even microsoft adware software helped it didnt even pick it up,….. go with Webroot Spy Sweeper 4.5
